This tweedy scarf is handwoven from a handspun palette of Merino wool blended with silk and mixed fibres. It's inspired by the colours of lavender - shades of purple with subtle greens and greys.
All the yarn in this scarf is spun by me on my spinning wheel - painting with fibre. I wove it on my small loom and it's super warm and cosy for outdoor wear.
The scarf is about 164cm (64.5in) long with an 13cm (5in) fringe, and 14cm (5.5in) wide.
Handmade by me when I lived on the Isle of Tiree in the Inner Hebrides, Scotland.
Hand wash with care in cool water and dry flat. May be ironed under a pressing cloth.

I'm an artist maker in west Wales, creating with my spinning wheel and loom, looking for the beautiful in the everyday and seeking to tell small, slow stories in cloth.
The warmth of wool and the lustre of silk, the play of colour, the rhythms of the day and the fragments of memory - these are the elements that inspire me to create. I make scarves, textile jewellery, handmade cards, and woven abstract art cloth both framed and unframed. I also create handspun yarn, blended fibres for spinning and creative inspiration packs.
Some of my items were made when I lived in Scotland on the Isle of Tiree, before coming to Wales.
